In Retrograde
Trve Californian Misery
In Retrograde is a Sacramento(Ca) based Deathrock horde that is heavily inspired by the gothic classicks and Black Metal, making for a really satisfying experience. I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with them if you dig on dark rock music and delectable vampiric jams. - Transylvanian Recordings

It all wrapped up with IN RETROGRADE playing an absolutely crushing set of their deathy mercurial metallic gothy punk rock. Every single time I see that band I am always blown away by the songwriting and the massiveness of their sound, but there’s always other things that just reach out and grab me. Last night, it was the massive twang and roar of the guitar, and the pounding of percussion that gave it all such a drive and power. And, the much better than average tambourining going on. Such a fantastic band and the perfect end to a glorious gig. - Sacramento Punk Shows
These guys are brilliant and are set to be one of the biggest goth/deathrock bands of the current resurgence. Addicted to Dharma. Deathrock with Madchester vibes? Count me tf in. Favorite track: Dharma.
Pretty stellar album. I really enjoy the presence of some black metal and its perfect synchronicity with the goth rock sound. This whole album was a fun one to listen to. Favorite track: Death Ablaze.
